(L-R) Michael Powell, Bobby Wilson and Austin Dunlap are wanted in the kidnapping of a man in Blue Mound on Nov. 6.

Blue Mound police are looking for three suspects who a man said kidnapped him and tried to run him over earlier this month.

The man told police he was in his apartment in Blue Mound on Nov. 6 when two men came inside and forcefully pulled him out. They forced him into a white sedan being driven by a third man, police said in a news release.

The man was tied up in the backseat and taken to a spot in Fort Worth where he tried to escape, police said. He was caught again and the suspects assaulted him.

When he escaped again, the suspects tried to run him over with their car, the man told police. He ran into an open business and called police while the suspects fled, the news release said.

The man identified the suspects as: Michael Powell, 44, Austin Dunlap, 34, and Bobby Wilson, 42. He also described two cars; a white 4-door Mitsubishi Galant and a Gold 2000’s model Dodge Ram.

On Thursday, Blue Mound police released photos of the suspects in a Facebook post and asked the public for assistance in finding them.

“They are to be considered armed and very dangerous. Do not approach or try to apprehend any of these subjects,” the post said.

On Thursday evening, Blue Mound police said one of the suspects, Dunlap, was found in Knoxville and taken into custody.

Anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts can contact Blue Mound police at 817-232-0661 or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
