The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened just after 2 p.m. on Monday.

A man was shot twice in the leg after answering his door at the Copperfield Apartments, 6051 S. Hulen St., Officer Buddy Calzada said.

The injured man does not know the suspect, Calzada said. He was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
