A Fort Worth man was arrested on Sunday in the shooting death of a Haltom City man in Navarro County, according to the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation began at around 10:50 a.m. Saturday when Navarro deputies were alerted to a man sleeping near a car on Prairie Star Trail in Rice. Deputies found the man dead from multiple gunshot wounds, the department said.

He was identified as 36-year-old Salomon Lucio from Haltom City.

The next day, with help from the Fort Worth Police Department, investigators searched a home in the 4500 block of Fair Park Boulevard, near East Seminary Drive and Campus Drive in Southland Terrace in Fort Worth.

Police arrested 34-year-old Rafael Borroel. He is jailed on $100,000 bail on a charge of murder.

The suspect was found in the house and arrested. The sheriff’s office is not releasing his name until he’s formally charged.
