Fort Worth resident Carroll Hall was arrested for public intoxication after being found walking naked in a field in Aledo.
Fort Worth resident Carroll Hall was arrested for public intoxication after being found walking naked in a field in Aledo.

A Fort Worth man walking naked in an Aledo field last week waved to a Parker County sheriff's deputy who was coming to investigate after a witness called the police.

Carroll Bennett Hall, 66, was jailed Friday on a charge of public intoxication and was released from custody the next day.

The arresting officer said he asked Hall why he wasn't wearing any clothes and Hall replied that "he was told this was a safe place, he wanted to see if it was safe, and he was nude because it feels good."

Hall's car was found less than a quarter-mile away "running with the heater on high, and a phone in the driver seat."
