Investigation underway on death of Fort Worth toddler
Detectives are in the early stages of an investigation involving a 2-year-old boy who died Thursday afternoon at a local hospital, police said Friday.
The child has been identified as Adrian Langlais, 2, of Fort Worth, who was pronounced dead at 1:36 p.m. Thursday at Cook Children’s Medical Center, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website on Friday. A ruling on his death is pending.
Paramedics had arrived at his home in the 1900 block of Cedar Tree Drive.
Officers responded to the hospital at about 2:10 p.m. Wednesday after emergency crews had arrived with an unresponsive child with injuries. The child died the next day.
Detectives with Crimes Against Children Unit were investigating the case.
Police did not release any other information.
