Resident shot several times near Arlington home
Police searched Wednesday for witnesses and leads in a shooting that left a man seriously wounded near a home in central Arlington.
Investigators released few details.
A call came in to police shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday reporting a man being shot in the 1100 block of Rosewood Lane, near South Collins Street.
Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds outside the home. The shooting happened outside the residence, police Sgt. Jeffrey Houston said in an email Wednesday.
The victim was taken to a hospital, and his condition was unavailable.
“When the victim is able to speak, detectives will talk to him,” Houston said. “Until then, we will work the crime scene and attempt to locate witnesses.”
