Three wounded in Fort Worth restaurant parking lot

An altercation in a restaurant parking lot Tuesday night left three men wounded and another in custody, police said Wednesday.

A 20-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds that were not considered life-threatening, police said. Two 17-year-old men also suffered non-life-threatening wounds in the shooting at the IHOP Restaurant in the 3700 block of Altamesa Boulevard.

Patrol officers arrested a man seen driving away from the shooting. Detectives had not released information as to whether he was involved in the shooting, but he was arrested on suspicion of unlawful carrying of a weapon and other charges, Officer Daniel Segura said in an email Wednesday morning.

Police received the shooting call about 10 p.m. Tuesday. The fight took place between people in the restaurant parking lot and others across the street at the Navy Food Mart in the 3600 block of Altamesa Boulevard. People opened fire from both locations, police said.

The 20-year-old man was shot as he stood in the restaurant parking lot, police said. He was taken to a local hospital. The 17-year-old victims fled after being shot and were driven by private vehicle to the hospital, police said.
