Ski-masked bandit robs Fort Worth bank

Now this is a real cold case.

As the wind chill hovered at 15 degrees Monday morning, a heavyset man armed with a stun gun walked up to tellers at First Convenience Bank on Altamesa Boulevard, demanded money and fled with undetermined amount of cash.

Police continued their search Monday for the bandit who wore a ski mask.

The holdup occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. Monday at the bank inside a Kroger at 3510 Altamesa Boulevard.

The white man approached the tellers and brandished the stun gun. He ran out after getting the money.

Robbery detectives were on the scene as officers searched the neighborhood.
