Chewbacca Mom Candace Payne of Grand Prairie has truly arrived now — being awarded her own one-of-a-kind action figure at Hasbro headquarters in Rhode Island. Can a Cheerios box cover be far behind?

The figure has Chewbacca’s body from the neck down, but the head is Payne’s and comes with a removable Chewbacca mask. It also features 13 catchphrases, including “I am such a happy Chewbacca,” a Hasbro rep told Entertainment Weekly.

Payne wore a Torchy’s Tacos t-shirt to the presentation Friday.

The mother of two who became famous by posting a video of herself on Facebook laughing hysterically as she put on a $20 Chewbacca mask has also been invited to Facebook headquarters, been offered a college scholarship, appeared on talk shows and national morning shows, threw out the first pitch at an Astros game, met the man who played Chewbacca and the legendary Stan Lee, and has otherwise basked in the glow of her newfound fame.

Her “It’s the simple joys in life” Facebook post really touched a cord. It’s the most-watched Facebook Live video yet, with 157 million views and 3.3 million shares since she posted it a month ago.

Amazing how contagious a sense of humor can be in these sometimes troubling times.
