Two critically injured in roll-over accident

A driver and child passenger were critically injured Saturday afternoon when a car rolled over on Interstate 35W in Fort Worth, an ambulance service official said.

The wreck occurred about 4:15 p.m. near Meacham Boulevard, leaving the car upended in a ditch. The woman driving the car was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, and the child was taken to Cook Children’s Medical Center, MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said.

Other details, including the cause of the wreck, were not available late Saturday, a Fort Worth police representative said.
