All lanes of northbound Interstate 35 West are closed to traffic at FM 1187 on Wednesday afternoon due to crashes involving 18-wheelers, Burleson police said on Facebook.

Northbound lanes of the freeway will be shut down while the crashes are cleared and vehicles are removed, police said about 2:20 p.m. Traffic is at a full stop after FM 1187.

Drivers should seek an alternate route and expect heavy delays, police said.
