Luxury homebuilder breaks ground in Argyle ISD. Prices start at $1.2M
A luxury home builder with projects in Prosper, Celina and Colleyville is expanding to Denton County.
Tradition Homes announced that it is breaking ground in the High Plains neighborhood of Furst Ranch, a 2,300-development at U.S. 377 and Cross Timbers Road in Flower Mound, in the Argyle school district. Prices will start at $1.2 million.
“We came across Furst Ranch, and we were hooked. The land is gorgeous,” said Zach Schneider, president and CEO of Tradition Homes.
When complete, the development will be home to an estimated 20,000 people. Plans include 3,000 homes and 5,000 apartments. An H-E-B grocery store will be among the retail offerings in the development.
“As Tradition Homes looked where to go next, we were laser-focused on finding a master-planned community,” Schneider said.
A model home should be completed by this summer.
Furst Ranch features several neighborhoods, and Tradition Homes will start building in the development’s “inaugural phase” in the High Plains neighborhood with homes on 80-foot wide lots.
In 2028, Tradition Homes will begin its next phase in the Cross Timbers neighborhood on one and two-acre lots.
The homes in High Plains will be in the Argyle school district, which has an A rating from the Texas Education Agency.
The homes will feature one- and two-story floorplans with modern, transitional and farm house architectural styles, creating a diverse streetscape, Schneider said.
Schneider said the first phase will be in Flower Mound and the second will be in Bartonville. All homes will be in the Argyle ISD.
“It’s interesting that North Texas continues to be one of the fastest growing areas in the country where the demand for homes remains incredibly strong,” Schneider said.
