The Elmore Hotel debuts in Southlake with unique design and charm
The former Southlake Hotel has reopened after a multi-million dollar renovation and rebranding as The Elmore Hotel.
Owned by NewcrestImage under the management of Coury Hospitality, the four-story boutique hotel along Kimball Avenue at Texas 114 underwent a year-long renovation.
With 175 rooms, it is the latest addition to Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio of independent hotels that feature their own unique styles.
“Our renovation has created a thoroughly modern and memorable hotel experience that distinctively stands out for guests and seamlessly blends into the local neighborhood,” said Mehul Patel, managing partner of NewcrestImage, in a press release.
Coury Hospitality is the same company that runs the Hotel Vin in Grapevine, where the firm is based, as well as The Sinclair in downtown Fort Worth. In March, Coury Hospitality announced plans for a major expansion of Hotel Vin, which is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
About the new Elmore Hotel in Southlake
The Elmore property was built in 2016 and opened as a Cambria Hotel & Suites, which was one of the first hotels in Southlake.
The renovations feature an interior design inspired by the American elm tree and photographs from British photographer David Yarrow.
“The Elmore is the kind of exceptional design-forward, lifestyle hotel that our company is boldly bringing to cities throughout Texas,” Paul Coury, CEO of Coury Hospitality, said in a statement.
The hotel has a speakeasy called the Social Outlaw as well as fine dining options at its Sagewind restaurant.
Coury said the hotel will serve as a gathering space for locals and travelers.
“It represents a true living room for the Southlake community where successful business deals are conducted,” Coury said in the statement. “Where travel memories are made, and where significant family and community events are held.”
The property also has events space, a fitness center, wellness programs, an outdoor pool and meeting rooms.
