A Springtown educator is no longer employed by the school district following a misconduct report.

In a statement, a district spokesperson said the following:

“The educator was immediately placed on administrative leave while the District promptly investigated the concern. The educator is no longer employed by the District. The District takes all reports of misconduct seriously and is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all students.”

The Springtown district spokesperson did not respond to a request to confirm the educator’s name.

WFAA reported the city of Springtown is also looking into the matter, though a city spokesperson declined to comment further.
