The Tarrant Area Food bank is hosting a mobile food distribution from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26, at Weatherford High School, 2122 Bethel Road. The mobile food distribution event will provide nutritious food to those who are hungry in Parker County.

This initiative is designed to provide essential, healthy food to an estimated 750 households while supplies last.

The event is open to all. People will not be required to present any form of identification or complete any paperwork to receive food assistance.

This streamlined approach ensures that help is readily available to anyone facing food insecurity in Parker County.

Nearly one third of the 1.3 million people in Dallas-Fort Worth who face hunger are children.
