Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport police are investigating a potentially suspicious vehicle that was searched and removed after authorities found it parked curbside near Terminal A.

The suspicious vehicle was reported about 11:30 a.m. Monday.

DFW Airport police said in an email Monday afternoon that when officers were alerted to the suspicious car near the terminal, they decided to call in a bomb squad to clear the vehicle before it could be towed.

There was a minimal disruption in the area, and the car was moved about 1 p.m., police said.
