Police in White Settlement recovered over $150,000 in stolen construction equipment and seized firearms and illicit drugs during a search March 21, officials said.

The search was the result of a break in a major commercial burglary case, officials with the White Settlement Police Department said in a statement.

The original report of the equipment theft was made in February, according to the statement.

White Settlement Police responded to a commercial construction site in the 600 block of North Jim Wright Freeway, where the victim reported the theft, police said.

Over the course of the investigation, the victim identified his property for sale on Facebook Marketplace, officials said.

The stolen property included 48 outdoor light fixtures, electrical breakers, wire and a cable puller, according to a copy of the search warrant.

From there, detectives were able to identify the social media accounts associated with the sales and obtain a search warrant, police said.

One person was arrested at the scene of the search for outstanding warrants and a drug charge unrelated to the original case, according to the statement.
