Disturbance at North East Mall prompts multi-agency response Sunday

Two people are in custody after a disturbance at North East Mall in Hurst on Sunday night prompted a response from multiple police agencies, city officials said.

The suspects displayed handguns during an argument, but no shots were fired and no one was injured, officials said.

Officers are clearing the scene and there is no continuing threat to the public, officials said.
