Two people were injured when a vehicle crashed into a house in the 7300 block of NE Loop 820 in North Richland Hills Sunday, police said on Facebook.

Officers responded to the scene at 10:46 a.m. and found that both the driver of the vehicle and a resident inside the home suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries, according to the Facebook post.

The driver and the resident were transported to a local hospital, and preliminary investigations suggest a medical emergency may have contributed to the crash, officials said.

The investigation remains ongoing and no additional details are available, police said.
