Woman found safe after Texas Clear Alert on Wednesday, Weatherford police say
The subject of a Texas Clear Alert has been found safe Wednesday, according to Weatherford police.
Steffanie Drake’s family reported her missing after they hadn’t been able to contact the 50-year-old Wednesday morning, Weatherford police said on social media. They announced shortly before 1:30 p.m. that Drake had been found.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our post and gave us information,” police said in the updated post. “We appreciate you!”
Officials believed Drake’s disappearance posed a credible threat to her health and safety.
Anyone with information about Drake’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Weatherford Police Department at 817-598-4300.
