28-year-old North Texas motorcyclist killed in collision with vehicle, officials say

A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Haltom City was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Watauga, officials said.

Andrew Paul McCollum died of blunt force injuries in the emergency room of a Fort Worth hospital around midnight Wednesday, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office website.

The accident took place in the 6700 block of Park Vista Boulevard.

Sgt. Danielle Bannick, a spokesperson for the Watauga Police Department, said the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. The driver of the other vehicle isn’t currently facing any charges.
