NCAA women’s gymnastics title event is back in Fort Worth. Here’s how to get tickets
Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena is hosting the 2024 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships in April 18 and 20, and tickets are now on sale for the two semifinal sessions and championship session.
This will be the seventh time Fort Worth will have hosted the NCAA gymnastics championship. The championships were previously held here in 2015, 2016, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Tickets for semifinal sessions start at $13 through Ticketmaster, while final session tickets start at $71.
“This year promises to be exciting, as the defending National Champions, the Oklahoma Sooners, are ranked number one in the way-too-early rankings for the 2024 season,” the NCAA says in a press release.
Last year, U.S. Olympic silver medalist Jordan Chiles, who is known for her floor routines that encompass 1990s hip hop, was in the field of competitors, the Star-Telegram previously reported.
There are 3,500 women student-athletes that represent 83 NCAA member institutions, with 36 teams receiving a spot in four regional events based on their qualifying score. The first 16 teams are seeded by the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Committee and the remaining slots are given to teams based geography. Selections are made April 8.
Eight teams will compete in the two semifinal sessions on April 18. The top four teams return April 20 for the final session. Twelve all-around competitors and 64 individual event specialists who are not listed on a qualifying team roster are also included in the championship field, according to the NCAA.
Oklahoma,Utah, LSU and Florida competed in last year’s final with the Sooners winning their sixth title in eight years.

Fort Worth fans will have opportunities to see the National Championship trophy up close as the hardware will make stops around town. Last year, the trophy tour included stops at the Fort Worth Zoo, Museum of Science and History, City Hall and at the Cattle Drive in the Stockyards.
