A man was charged with driving while intoxicated after allegedly hitting a police officer’s car, which had a K-9 on board.

The collision happened just after 11 p.m. Sunday on Jacksboro Highway at Skyline Drive.

The driver, Roger Saenz-Blandon, failed to yield to the patrol car, which had its emergency lights on, according to police.

Star-Telegram partner WFAA published the dash cam footage of the accident from another officer’s car.

Neither the dog nor the officer was seriously hurt.
