New IHOP restaurant to open next to a Buc-ee’s in North Texas very soon. Here’s where
Denton residents can expect to grab breakfast along with travel essentials, with a new IHOP restaurant opening adjacent to the Buc-ee’s store on the southside of I-35E by next year.
The new Denton IHOP will occupy 3,995 square feet, a new filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows. The $800,000 project is expected to be built starting Feb. 29 and is projected to to be completed by Summer 2024, with a date of Aug. 26. ID Studio 4, an Irving architecture and engineering firm specializing in restaurant and retail design, will be in charge of the project.
A LongHorn Steakhouse restaurant, about 5,800 square feet, is also being built in front of the Buc-ee’s. It’s expected to open in Spring 2024 on the southwest corner of I-35E and Buc-ee’s Boulevard.
The Denton Buc-ee’s opened in 2018, and a seventh location planned along I-35 south of Fort Worth, according to an announcement earlier this year. The Hillsboro travel center has a planned opening in Spring 2024.
