Are banks open on Veterans Day?
National banks such as Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo will be open Friday but closed on Saturday for the holiday. For local bank hours, check with your branch.
Is the postal service closed on Veterans Day?
Yes, the United States Postal Service will not deliver mail on Saturday.
Since the USPS does not deliver mail on Sundays, the service will resume operations on Monday.
Are grocery stores open on Veterans Day?
Yes, virtually all grocery stores will remain open on Veterans Day at normal hours.
Grocery stores won’t close their doors for a couple weeks until Thanksgiving Day.
