A Mediterranean restaurant in north Fort Worth has closed.

Rachel’s Mediterranean Grill closed its doors at 2801 Heritage Trace Parkway on July 7 for nonpayment of rent, according to Community Impact. The restaurant was located in north Fort Worth around the Alliance Town Center shopping area.

Rachel’s was only open in Fort Worth for over a year, launching in March 2022. The Fort Worth locatio was the restaurant chain’s first spot outside of New York.

Rachel’s has 13 restaurants in New York serving up salad bowls and pita wraps, where patrons can choose their own toppings and ingredients.
