Eastbound Interstate 30 is closed at I-20 due to a crash in west Tarrant County near the Parker County line, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
Traffic is being detoured to I-20, TxDOT said.
Drivers should expect delays.
A car crashed into a highway sign near Linkcrest Drive on Monday morning, causing the sign to fall, according to Fort Worth police. The car caught fire, and one person was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
