Silver Alert canceled for missing Palestine woman
A Silver Alert issued for a 65-year-old woman last seen Wednesday evening in Palestine was canceled Thursday evening.
Joy Edwards had last been seen around 6 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Sycamore Street, according to the alert. Authorities said Edwards was diagnosed with a cognitive impairment, and they believed her disappearances posed a credible threat to her health and safety.
Anyone with information about Edwards’ whereabouts was asked to contact the Palestine Police Department at 903-729-2254.
