Heavy rainfall may result in some flooding in North Texas on Wednesday
A flash flood threat exists in North Texas on Wednesday as the chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue in the area, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.
Some neighborhoods will have periods of heavy rain on Wednesday until at least Wednesday afternoon. Heavy rainfall may result in some flooding of urban, low-lying and poorly drained areas primarily along and east of Interstate 35 in Dallas-Fort Worth.
There’s a 90 percent of showers and thunderstorms in Tarrant County on Wednesday, according to the NWS in Fort Worth.
The rain should completely end by Wednesday evening.

It should be cooler on Wednesday with highs in the lower 50s and northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
North Texans will wake up to cold temperatures Thursday morning with lows in the mid-30s. Thursday will be sunny with highs in the upper 50s.
A second cold front arrives Friday, when North Texans will face daytime temperatures in the upper 40s. The Saturday morning temperature should be at 28.
Rain chances return to the area early next week, when there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday and on Tuesday for Valentine’s Day.
