A 27-year-old Keene woman was killed Wednesday afternoon when her vehicle was struck by a dump truck on a highway in Cleburne, according to authorities.

The woman was Christina Johnson, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office website.

The dump truck driver had no serious injuries, Cleburne police said.

The accident occurred just after 1 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of E. Farm Market 4.

Johnson was driving a white 2005 Honda SUV east on the highway was trying to go north onto a private drive when her vehicle was hit by a 2005 Mack dump truck, which had been going westbound, Cleburne police said.

The dump truck hit the SUV on the passenger side.

Johnson was pronounced dead at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday, according to the medical examiner’s website.

Cleburne police said an investigation continued Thursday into the fatal crash.
