21-year-old woman dies after crash on I-30 in Grand Prairie, police say
The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred July 12 on Interstate 30.
A Toyota passenger car was traveling east in the main lanes about 7:40 p.m. when the driver hit a mattress, police said in a news release. The car became disabled and was hit by another vehicle.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The driver, identified as 21-year-old Keyla Oliva, died at the hospital on July 16, police said.
No charges are expected to be filed. No one else was injured in the accident.
