Tarrant, Dallas counties now set at high risk of COVID-19 spread by CDC
Tarrant and Dallas Counties’ COVID spread risk set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now at high due to the increased number of infections and hospitalizations.
The high risk designation means the CDC is recommending masking, increased testing and additional health precautions for people who are at high risk for underlying illness.
Dallas County still has its own community spread risk listed as yellow, while Tarrant County’s level was already set to high.
Tarrant County last week recommended people return to masking.
