At least 15 vehicles involved in major car crash near Golden Triangle on Saturday afternoon
More than 15 vehicles were involved in a major motor-vehicle crash on Interstate 35W near Golden Triangle on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
A spokesperson from MedStar said that, so far, nine individuals suffered minor injuries. Three ambulances were at the scene as of 1 p.m.
Police said the investigation is ongoing but preliminary information suggests an 18 wheeler had a mechanical failure that caused the accident. The freeway was open as of 4:30 p.m.
