Refugee Services of Texas in Fort Worth is looking for donations to help the nonprofit organization in its mission of providing support to the more than 120 arrivals who came to the service in October, according to a news release from The Episcopal Church in North Texas.

The service helped resettle 45 refugees from Afghanistan in one recent week, according to a news release, including a family of 11. Donations that come in go out to those in need almost immediately.

The service is currently asking for donations of bed frames, toiletries, Walmart gift cards and items off its Amazon Wish List. The list includes items like shower curtain rings, cutlery, towels, pillows, child car seats, home cleaning supplies and Qurans.

Refugee Services of Texas in Fort Worth has also partnered with the Tarrant County Furniture Bank to furnish apartments for refugees getting assistance from the service and is asking for donations to the furniture bank with special instructions to use the donations for RST vouchers.
