13-year-old girl drowned in Grapevine Lake on Fourth of July, fire department says
A 13-year-old girl drowned Saturday evening at Grapevine Lake.
Angelica Moore, of Haltom City, drowned in the lake around 7 p.m. Saturday, according to Flower Mound Fire Department spokesman Brandon Barth.
Moore was found in the lake after an hour and a half search using sonar. Flower Mound Fire Department and police, Grapevine first responders, game wardens and Army Corps of Engineers park rangers participated in the search.
The drowning took place north of Rockledge Park and near Flower Mound’s Lakeside Tower.
