They’re going to Disney World! Two Fort Worth-area students honored for their artwork.

Surprise parades were held Friday to recognize the two winners of Imagine No Violence, a program operated by One Safe Place, according to a news release.

More than 25,000 students participated in the campaign in 2019, creating artwork that promotes nonviolence, the release said. One Safe Place is an organization focused on preventing crime and violence in Tarrant County.

The winners were Tallulah Koenig, a ninth-grader at Bedford Junior High School, and Eylona Fisher, an eighth-grader at Ousley Junior High in Arlington.

Koenig and Fisher each won a trip to Disney World and were honored with parades in front of their homes that included elected officials, police leadership and other dignitaries.

A total of 165 students received monetary prizes for their achievements in the program.
