New app for Southlake residents
Tech-saavy Southlake residents won't be missing out on city alerts and notifications with the launch of Southlake's new app for ios and Android.
City deputy director of marketing and communication Pilar Schank said the My Southlake Texas app, is not "intended to replace the city's website, but instead to serve as a complementary tool to provide information quickly."
The app will give residents the ability to receive customized alerts and notifications for weather, look up meeting agendas, city calendars, maps and the app will also be a method to pay utility bills.
The app, designed by CivicPlus, also is the company that designed the city’s website.
