Several millions of dollars in methamphetamine were found during a traffic stop on Interstate 30 in Greenville.
Greenville Police pulled over a vehicle Tuesday and found several packages of meth — weighing about 70 pounds — in hidden compartments.
The driver, identified by police as Cesar Baltazar of Mexico, was taken into federal custody.
With help from the Drug Enforcement Administration, a further investigation led to the arrests of three more people along with “seizures of cash, firearms, and additional methamphetamines.”
The police department wrote on its Facebook page it is still investigating.
