Fort Worth motorcyclist killed in Arlington wreck
A 20-year-old Fort Worth man was fatally injured Thursday night when his motorcycle hit a car in an intersection, authorities reported.
Alexander Shuffield was eastbound on West Pleasant Ridge Road about 11:20 p.m. when a car turned from Windhurst Drive. Shuffield’s motorcycle hit the driver’s side of the car in the intersection, police said in a news release.
Shuffield was pronounced dead at Arlington Memorial Hospital at 12:02 a.m., the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office reported.
“Investigators will continue to look into the causes of the crash and examine the evidence from the roadway,” the news release said.
