A wreck involving two cars and a tractor-trailer shut down westbound Interstate 20 in Arlington and backed up traffic for about two hours Friday afternoon, police said.

The accident happened about 12:30 p.m. on I-20 near Park Springs Boulevard.

Police shut down the highway and diverted traffic to the access road at Cooper Street, about two miles from the accident, police spokesman Steven Bartolotta said. The highway reopened about 2:30 p.m.

There were no major injuries reported in the wreck.
