Man robbed, shot at east Arlington apartment complex
A man in his mid-20s was in stable condition Tuesday after being shot by a robber at an apartment complex in east Arlington, police said.
Officers responded to the shooting call about 3 p.m. at the Windsprint Apartments in the 2300 block of Windsprint Way, near Texas 360.
The gunman had approached the man’s truck and demanded money, said police spokesman Steven Bartolotta. After shooting the man in the leg, the gunman ran off. Officers were searching for him Tuesday afternoon.
The wounded man was taken to a hospital.
In March, 21-year-old Kevin Anderson was fatally shot at the same apartment complex.
