Resident, firefighter injured in Arlington apartment fire
A resident suffered minor injuries when he jumped off a balcony during a fire Sunday night at an apartment complex, fire officials said.
A firefighter had burnon on a hand and was taken to a hospital. He was released after treatment.
The blaze was reported at 11:46 p.m. Sunday at the Silverwood Apartments in the 1100 block of Silverwood Drive.
Heavy fire was reported when firefighters arrived. They contained the fire to one apartment.
The resident was taken to a hospital.
Fire officials did not release a cause for the blaze.
