Carrollton man killed in Grand Prairie wreck

A Carrollton man was killed Sunday afternoon and two others were injured in a two-car collision at a city intersection, police said.

Police identified the victim as Miguel Daniel Que, 33, who died at the scene.

The driver of the other car, Blanca Garza, 19, of Grand Prairie, and her passenger, Anthony Rodriguez, 17, also of Grand Prairie, were seriously injured and taken to Medical Center of Arlington. Their injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

The wreck was reported about 4:40 p.m. Sunday at Corn Valley Road and Grenoble Drive.

Que, driving a 1995 Honda Accord, was eastbound on Grenoble Drive and attempting to go north onto Corn Valley Road when his vehicle was hit on the driver’s side by a southbound 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by Garza.

Speed was a factor in the wreck, which remains under investigation, police said.

It was the first traffic fatality in Grand Prairie this year.
