Arlington woman, 86, fatally injured in two-car crash
An 86-year-old Arlington woman who died Wednesday from injuries suffered the day before in a two-car wreck has been identified as Theresa Wolters.
Wolters was pronounced dead from multiple blunt force injuries at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Medical Center of Arlington.
Tiara Richard, an Arlington police spokeswoman, said the collision occurred about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when Wolters, driving a Ford Taurus, pulled into the 4100 block of W. Arkansas Lane from a business driveway and was struck by a BMW.
The driver of the BMW was not seriously injured, Richard said.
No criminal charges are expected in the case, Richard said, as it appears the victim was likely at fault in the collision.
