Police are asking for help in finding Francisco Javier Rodriguez, 22, a suspect in a fatal shooting Sunday night.

Rodriguez, who goes by the nickname Chamuco, was at a party in the 3100 block of Bahar Drive when Hugo Castrejon-Hernandez, 25, was shot in the head, authorities reported.

Officers responded to a shooting call about 11:40 p.m. Sunday and found Hernandez wounded. He was taken to Medical Center Arlington, where he was pronounced dead at 3:23 a.m. Monday, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

Investigators are trying to determine the details of the event, including the relationship between Rodriguez and Hernandez, who evidently knew each other.

Rodriguez is about 5 feet 9, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police have secured a murder warrant for Rodriguez and are coordinating with the U.S. marshals’ North Texas fugitive task force in an effort to find him.
