Police appealed for help Wednesday in identifying the man who entered a woman’s apartment last week and attacked her.

A 911 call at 12:45 p.m. March 28 sent officers to an apartment in the 2200 block of East Park Row Drive. The woman there reported that a man wearing a black scarf over his face had entered her apartment and attacked her.

During the struggle, the scarf came off, and she saw the man’s face. She fought him off and saw him leave in an older model, light gray car.

Police released a composite drawing of the man Wednesday based on the woman’s description.

She described him as black, about 5-feet-10 to 6 feet tall and muscular with slight facial hair and distinctive scarring on his forehead.
