Man stabbed to death in Arlington driveway
A man died from stab wounds Sunday morning in a residential neighborhood, and police are searching for a 16-year-old suspect.
Authorities had not released the name of the victim pending notification of relatives.
Investigators said they believe the man was stabbed to death in a driveway.
Officers responded to the stabbing call about 4:40 a.m. Sunday in the 6300 block of Declaration Drive.
An altercation in the driveway had left the victim critically injured, police said. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died, police said.
Detectives said the man was involved in the incident with a 16-year-old juvenile who has family ties. Police did not provide any other details on the relationship or the motive for the stabbing.
Police said the stabbing was not a random act of violence.
