Arlington police release video to ID armed robbers of pipe shop
Police have released surveillance video of three robbers who hit Smokies House of Pipes on Southwest Green Oaks Boulevard on Dec. 7.
Investigators hope the video will help them track down the two men and one woman who walked into the business and confronted the employees.
The woman served as a lookout, pacing at the front door while the men took money from the register and safe, according to an Arlington police news release.
The video shows one robber run to an employee and point a gun at the person’s back, forcing the employee out of the way while the other robber opens the register. The man, dressed in a gray and black hoodie, then led the employee around the store.
Both male robbers were in their late teens to early 20s and about 5-feet-10 to 6-feet-1.
One was wearing a black beanie, black jacket with gray sleeves and a hood. He has some facial hair. The other robber was wore a black Chicago Bulls hat, a black jacket with a white stripes on the sleeves, black pants, and black and white sneakers.
The female is in her late teens to early 20s, 5-feet-4 to 5-feet-6 and thin. In the video she is wearing black shoes, black pants and a black and white hoodie.
