University of Texas at Arlington police apprehended a “suspicious” man on campus, but found no weapons on him after checking into reports he had a gun.

The school sent students an “ALL CLEAR” message at 11:10 a.m.

At 10:19 a.m., UTA had alerted students that police were investigating a report of a white male in fatigues with a gun on campus. About 30 minutes later, the school cleared students to “resume normal operations” outside the architecture building, where police were with the man in question.

No further information was immediately available.
