Search continues for teen’s wheelchair stolen in Arlington
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a wheelchair stolen Monday from outside an Arlington teen’s home.
A neighbor’s surveillance camera captured a red car pulling up about 5:40 p.m. as the 17-year-old, a Mansfield school district student, left his wheelchair near the front of his house in the 6400 block of Redding Court.
A short time later, a red pickup pulling a trailer stops in front of the home, and the wheelchair soon disappears.
Police want to identify the drivers of both vehicles to help in the investigation.
The wheelchair is described as lime green with Eduardo stitched on the backrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call Arlington police at 817-459-6389.
A school district representative said the district lent the student, who attends Summit High School, a wheelchair for the time being.
